The Cardinals added another piece to their puzzle prior to the start of Training Camp. Donald Butler was brought in by the Cardinals to add more experience to a vastly inexperience inside linebacker room.
Butler has spent the last five seasons with the San Diego Chargers. He was drafted in 2010 in the 3rd round, and was rewarded a new contract in after he performed well in both 2012 and 2013.
In his career, Butler has seven sacks, three interceptions, and 375 tackles.
Many Chargers fans are disappointed in Butler, with some saying he quit on the team after getting paid.
As of now, there's no information on the Butler deal, but if history tells us anything, it's a cheap one year deal, making Butler prove he's worth more in the long run.
To make room for Butler, the Cardinals released Quayshawn Nealy.
Will Butler do enough to stay? Or will the Cardinals cut him after Preseason? Discuss in the comments.
