Brandon Williams may be Ready Sooner than Expected for Arizona Cardinals

The third round rookie cornerback is turning heads at Arizona Cardinals training camp.

One thing is for certain, when it comes to playing unheralded rookies, Bruce Around has no issues. Whether it was Division II prospect Rodney Gunter starting last year or rookie John Brown from small Pittsburgh State assuming a large role in the offense in 2014, Arians does not seem to get caught up in pedigree.

Instead, Arians trusts his players to stay within their own abilities and find a way to get the best results out of his youth.

Brandon Williams is just the latest example. After getting roughly 500 game snaps as a cornerback in college and the Arizona Cardinals "reaching" on Williams in round three, he's been the highlight of the first two days of training camp.

Could Justin Bethel be Wally Pipp'd by Williams?

While expecting any rookie cornerback to keep up the play that Williams has the first two days, without pads mind you, is unfair, but if he shows enough to warrant playing time, maybe the concern over the depth and talent at the corner position was unfounded.

Maybe when Justin Bethel gets back, the Arizona Cardinals are going to be having to find time for Williams to get on the field.

These are good problems to have. Now if Bethel could just get healthy.
