It was a quick turnaround, a Friday night game then a day off on Saturday before the Arizona Cardinals get ready to head to San Diego for some work against the Chargers.
While the Cardinals will be in San Diego all week, that doesn't mean we won't stop giving camp updates, as much as possible anyway.
Here are some news and notes from Sunday morning's outside practice before the Cardinals head to the coast.
Injuries derail @AZCardinals hopes with LB Zack Wagenmann. He is released with injury settlement. Cards sign DT Iosia Iosia. #CardsCamp

Wagemann is probably not going to play for the Cardinals... ever. I mean maybe, but two injury settlements in two years trying to make the team?
It's a nice Sunday morning for some football; fits what Arians wanted, a change of pace #CardsCamp pic.twitter.com/t7rLDFFOmu

Let's be honest, anytime you can have a little outdoor activity you have to take advantage of it.
Tyrann Mathieu, Corey Peters, Frostee Rucker, Robert Nkemdiche. Justin Bethel & Taylor Boggs all rehabbing.

Some good news, maybe we can expect to see all of them by preseason game three.

No matter how much you love Deone Bucannon, this is a less than fair matchup, for anyone.
Bruce Arians says Jermaine Gresham's back tightened up, and that's only injury from game. Palmer/Fitz get vet day off tomorrow. #CardsCamp

Nothing else really matters from game one, no injuries to key players. We can get back to arguing over quarterbacks who we don't want to see play later.
Bruce Arians says Matt Barkley was worse in practice today than he was in the game, but gives him a pass after QB just welcomed new baby.

Congrats on the little one, Matt Barkley.
Arians, "15-to-16 plays" re: starters vs. San Diego; needs to see more from young players #CardsCamp
— Craig Grialou (@CraigAZSports) August 14, 2016
A little more work for the starters in the Chargers matchup, but not by much.
Chance Mathieu, Rucker, Bethel off PUP this week. Not to practice but to go through walkthroughs, get mental reps. #CardsCamp

BA: Humphries & B. Williams will play the entire first quarter against the Chargers.

No Joey Bosa, but Melvin Ingram has looked nice and Keenan Allen is a phenomenal route runner. Two more solid tests for the young players that have a lot of weight to be good.
If you head down to San Diego, send pictures in, we'll feature them on the front page.
No open thread for tonight's Houston Texans and San Francisco 49ers game, so feel free to discuss it in here.
