While the Arizona Cardinals wait to hear about their head coach, they still had business to take care of at practice on Tuesday, in their first joint effort with the San Diego Chargers.
Business as usual. https://t.co/vdIs74cGuf

Anyway, here are some thoughts from practice today and the press conferences before.
Arians said TE Troy Niklas will be running with the first team today. It's a good sign for the former second-round pick. #CardsCamp

Troy Niklas getting some work with the first team means that we are finally seeing the progression in Niklas. He’s a young, talented athlete, maybe it is finally clicking.
Mathieu not practicing yet, but BA encouraged. "We have the computers on him which tells the strength in each leg. He’s real, real close."

It is exciting to think that Tyrann Mathieu is getting closer and closer.
DT Corey Peters dressed and looks ready to practice after missing time with plantar fasciitis. TE Jermaine Gresham (back) too. #CardsCamp

CB Mike Jenkins, right hand casted up, dressed for practice too. #CardsCamp

Health is beginning to pick up for the Arizona Cardinals, just waiting on Robert Nkemdiche.
Ref who is watching the San Diego players try and catch passes against Arizona defenders is throwing a flag seemingly on every other play.

A lot of grabbing from the Arizona Cardinals.
CB Brandon Williams ton of upside but he needs to get much better in press coverage. not physical enough w/hands.

Change in tune once out of Cards camp and facing other players. There is something to be said for not knowing what your opponent is going to do. In camp, the defense tends to cheat, even subconsciously, because they know what their team does. Now? It is all new.
It also helps that he is going against really good route runners in Amari Cooper, Michael Crabtree and now Keenan Allen.
P.A. announcer tells crowd of Bruce Arians being taken to hospital, fans give nice round of applause in support of the coach. #CardsCamp

Classy fans and people in San Diego.
On one side of field, Cardinals D stuffed a Branden Oliver run. On other side, Drew Stanton found Jaron Brown across middle for short gain

Good to see the defense step up in 11 on 11 time.
That’s it, we’ll keep you updated on Bruce Arians as more information comes in.
