Cardinals vs. Texans Player Of The Game

Who was the best player on the field for the Cardinals?

Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

The Cardinals dropped a tough one to the Texans 34-24 today, but there were indeed a few great standout players who made impact plays.

Let's take a look:

-Darren Fells

Fells had a 40 yard catch and run to open the game, and was consistent blocking throughout as a tight end for Palmer and the running backs.  He has had some ups and downs in the preseason but has been figuring things out at the right time.

-Brittan Golden

Golden had the great game we hadn't seen from him all preseason, nabbing 6 catches for 80 yards and was all over the field on sunday.  He's a veteran and a good shot to make that 6th WR spot on the Cardinals roster, should they keep six.

-Chris Hubert

Hubert had a touchdown on the day from QB Matt Barkley and had 3 catches for 72 yards, an impressive number.  He's been making plays all throughout camp and finally stepped up with a big game.

-Jaxon Shipley

Shipley had a miraculous touchdown in the back of the endzone (see the Play Of The Game Article here), and had a good game with three catches for 27 total yards.

So, who was your player of the game today?
