Behind Elijhaa Penny, Matt Barkley and an opportunistic defense, the Arizona Cardinals took care of business in the preseason finale.

It was probably the best game of the preseason for the Arizona Cardinals as they rolled to a 38-17 win in their final preseason game against the Denver Broncos.

Matt Barkley flashed the consistency many have been waiting to see from the young signal caller, finishing 20-29 for 262 yards and 2 touchdowns.

While Barkley was very good, the player of the game was easily Elijhaa Penny, who carried the ball 23 carried 113 yards and a touchdown.

Barkley and Penny made their case to be on the roster, but there is probably too much in front of them, barring the news on Stepfan Taylor.

Jaxson Shipley and Brittan Golden continued their battle for the sixth and final receiving spot.

Hakeem Valles looks like a nice practice squad candidate as well.

The offensive line just gets you excited, 43 carries for 170 yards, get as many of those guys on the practice squad.

Defensively, Robert Nkemdiche continues to prove he is a man amongst boys when going against depth players for other.

Lamar Louis may have cemented his place on the Arizona Cardinals roster, while Cariel Brooks may have worked his way off the roster.

Gabe Martin continues to be steady eddy, with a pick six, but it may be too little too late.

The Arizona Cardinals are ready for the regular season, are you?
