The Cardinals lost a nail-biter to the New England Patriots to kick off their home opener to the season.
While a lot of great plays were made, there’s only one possibility to choose the player of the game.
So how about it, Cardinals fans? Let’s take a look at the top three performers:
Carson Palmer: 24 out of 37 for 242 yards, 2 TD’s
Palmer had a rough night, getting sacked 3 times, but still managed to avoid turnovers while throwing two touchdowns to Larry Fitzgerald and putting the team in position to win.
David Johnson: 16 carries for 89 yards, 4 catches for 43 yards, 1 TD
Johnson had a few great cuts that forced missed tackles with a long gain, several catches and a touchdown. He showed off his explosiveness and elusiveness in this game.
Larry Fitzgerald: 8 catches for 81 yards and 2 TD’s
Fitzgerald almost singlehandedly willed the Cards to a win with some clutch catches and also his 99th and 100th career touchdowns.
So, who is your vote?
