Maybe this is getting tired, but when you look at the Arizona Cardinals game it sticks out like a sore thumb, there is no passing of the torch. Larry Fitzgerald is the Arizona Cardinals best receiver, and frankly, I am not sure it is close.
When you watch the game, you see that John Brown is not himself, hopefully he is just out of shape, but maybe there is more too it, something we will keep an eye on.
However, Michael Floyd is still waiting to break out.

Neither one of John Brown or Michael Floyd is showing all that well tonight.

It is almost to the point where you wonder if it is just us as fans and analysts not giving Fitzgerald enough credit.
Or, is it the fact that maybe John Brown and Michael Floyd have not taken the next step?
Floyd was targeted seven times on the day, had three catches for 60 yards, but 39 came on one big play down the sidelines. He has not taken the next step yet, and when it was crunch time, Carson Palmer would rather force the ball to Larry Fitzgerald:
Larry Fitzgerald continues to work through his age, his diminishing athleticism and the fact that every team knows he is the best wide receiver on the field.
When will those other wide receivers catch up?
