The Arizona Cardinals have addressed their need in the secondary today with the addition of Tharold Simon, the former Seattle Seahawks cornerback.

Simon is in his fourth season in the NFL after being drafted by the Seahawks in the fifth round of the 2013 NFL Draft.

Simon started five games in 2014 after not seeing any action in the 2013 season with a foot injury.

Simon had a nice 2014 season before being victimized in the playoffs and never regaining the form he showed in the regular seaosn.

Simon has the measurables the Arizona Cardinals covet in their cornerbacks, standing 6-3 and 202lbs, Simon is a rangy athlete with good size.

He has struggled to pick up the nuances of the NFL game, even as the Seahawks have repeatedly sought help in their secondary.

In order to bring Simon on the Arizona Cardinals active roster, they waived/injured linebacker Lamar Louis.

Louis was a surprise player during the preseason and made the active roster, but has been injured the first couple of weeks.

Is Simon the answer the Cardinals need in the secondary? We shall see.
