NFL Week 3 Picks and Predictions

A look at the games this weekend and my terrible, no good choices for the winners.

NFL: Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Arizona Cardinals Jerome Miron-USA TODAY Sports

If you are here for advice on picking games, I will advise you to look elsewhere, as I sit at a robust 11-22 now on the season, meaning I am guaranteeing you lose a lot of money every week.

Even so, we are here for another week of pick em’s, so let’s get rolling.

(All Lines from Bovada as of 9/23/16)

Baltimore Ravens (-1) at Jacksonville Jaguars

I think the Jags can still be good, just not with the coaching staff as is.

Baltimore 24
Jacksonville 21

Washington Redskins at New York Giants (-4)

Give me the Giants, who look like a good football team this year on the defensive side of the ball. They have an offense that can play ball control or can score, they’ll beat a Washington team trying to find their way still.

Giants 21
Skins 14

Arizona Cardinals (-4.5) at Buffalo Bills

The Arizona Cardinals have shown the good and bad that they can play, I think we see the good and it is enough to win this game.

Cardinals 27
Bills 21

Denver Broncos (+3) at Cincinnati Bengals

It is not that I do not believe in the Bengals, it is that I am completely bought into the fact that the Broncos defense is the most unstoppable force in the NFL right now.

Broncos 20
Bengals 17

Cleveland Browns at Miami Dolphins (-10)

This is one of those “just don’t bet games” because has Miami shown to be worthy of being 10 point home favorites? No, the Browns played okay against the Ravens last week, but now it is Cody Kessler at QB. Just stay away.

Dolphins 28
Browns 14

Oakland Raiders (+1) at Tennessee Titans

Again, don’t bet this game. The Raiders beat the Saints, lose at home to Atlanta. Titans lose at home to the Vikings with Shaun Hill, beat the Lions in Detroit. Football is stupid.

Raiders 27
Titans 21

Minnesota Vikings at Carolina Panthers (-7)

I really like the Vikings and think they are more than good enough to not only cover but win, but the Panthers have been really good at home.

Carolina 31
Vikings 23

Detroit Lions (+7.5) at Green Bay Packers

This will be the week the Packers wake up, but they just haven’t seemed right thus far.

Packers 27
Lions 21

San Francisco 49ers (+9) at Seattle Seahawks

Seattle is the better team, but a nine point margin of victory to a team who has scored one touchdown the entire season? I don’t know.

Seahawks 14
49ers 10

Los Angeles Rams at Tampa Bay Buccaneers (-6)

The Rams team hasn’t scored a touchdown in a while and Tampa got the wake up call that they needed last Sunday.

Bucs 24
Rams 15

Pittsburgh Steelers (-3.5) at Philadelphia Eagles

The Steelers could be special this year and as much as I like Carson Wentz, the Steelers will give him his biggest test to date.

Steelers 28
Eagles 21

San Diego Chargers at Indianapolis Colts (-3)

The Colts offense is good, the Chargers offense is good, this should be a shootout, which means it’ll be a 10-7 game.

Colts 34
Chargers 28

New York Jets (+3) at Kansas City Chiefs

The Jets are the team I am struggling to figure out, almost as much as I am struggling to figure out the Chiefs.

Chiefs 24
Jets 23

Chicago Bears at Dallas Cowboys (-7)

What a Sunday Night Football match up.

Cowboys 27
Bears 13

Atlanta Falcons at New Orleans Saints (-3)

I like the Falcons right now, but the Saints coming in 0-2 makes things a little more difficult.

Saints 31
Falcons 27
