The Arizona Cardinals have a number of injuries from Sundays game. The biggest perhaps is the news of Michael Floyd.
Floyd was looked at by sideline officials during Sunday’s game, but was cleared by both team doctors and the independant official. He returned to the game. However, on Monday, Bruce Arians told reporters that Floyd was complaining about headaches, which is a huge symptom of concussions. The team placed him under the protocol to play it safe.
Michael Floyd has been underwhelming in three games this season. He currently has nine catches for 134 yards. He and Palmer seem to be on seperate pages on nearly every play. If Floyd needs to miss time with the concussion Jaron Brown would likely step into his shoes. Floyd is currently in a contract year.
Troy Niklas was also a name that came up with a new injury. Arians said he had a wrist injury, and that it was possibly severe. Niklas has been on the injury report on a regular basis. He appeared to a have turned a corner in preseason and the start of the season. But with this wrist injury it means his time in Arizona could be done at the end of the season.
Drew Butler was also among the names. He has a severe ankle injury, and will miss some time. Arians stated that they could have Butler suit up still just to hold kicks.
