The NFL waiver wire has been reset, after the first three weeks of the season, the Arizona Cardinals and the rest of the NFL get waiver priorities now based on the 2016 NFL records.
The waiver wire allows players with four years or less service to pass through waivers, and teams can put in claims on the player. The team with the highest waiver priority gets the player. So in theory the Jacksonville Jaguars can claim every player that is waived and they would be awarded every player.
In the end, the Arizona Cardinals are eighth in the NFL in waiver priority right now, which sucks, except they may get a team that offloads a talented player who is not fitting in right now, so that is the one, small, silver lining.
