Arizona Cardinals are Super Bowl Favorites at ESPN

ESPN unveiled their Super Bowl picks and the Arizona Cardinals are heavily represented.

The Arizona Cardinals come into the 2016 with huge expectations, the likes of which no Cardinals fan has ever seen.

Those expectations continue to grow as ESPN released their Super Bowl predictions for the 2016 season and the Arizona Cardinals found there way on to six different ESPN personalities ballots to win the NFC Championship: Josina Anderson, Dan Graziano, Suzy Kolber, Jim Trotter, Trey Wingo, and Field Yates all have the Arizona Cardinals making the trek to Super Bowl 51 in Houston.

Even better, of the six that chose the Arizona Cardinals as NFC Champs, five chose the Arizona Cardinals to win the Super Bowl in 2016, all but Trotter.

The Arizona Cardinals are tied for fourth amongst NFL teams being picked to win the Super Bowl.

The Cardinals rivals, the Seattle Seahawks led the voting way with 11 pundits predicting a Super Bowl win, followed by nine for the Green Bay Packers and six for the Arizona Cardinals opening night opponents, the New England Patriots.

The Cardinals were in a tie for fourth with… the Pittsburgh Steelers (who Trotter actually has the Arizona Cardinals losing the Super Bowl too).

While we can begrudge, bemoan and be bewildered by the admiration for the rival Seahawks, it is also fun to finally have expectations, and not just from within the Cardinals quaint little fanbase.

There are believers in the Arizona Cardinals from everywhere, and that is a change.
