The Arizona Cardinals will pick 13th in the 2017 NFL Draft, which makes sense, as they would pick right in the middle of the draft, and based on this season, they are a middle of the road NFL team.
Oh sure, they have some great highs, but remember, they lost to Buffalo and the same LA Rams team they just annihilated in the season finale.
The 13th pick in the NFL Draft has been fruitful over the last decade, let’s take a look, maybe the Arizona Cardinals can nail this 13th pick.
2016: Laremy Tunsil, OL Miami Dolphins
2015: Andrus Peat, OL New Orleans Saints
2014: Aaron Donald, DT Los Angeles Rams (Pro Bowl)
2013: Sheldon Richardson, DT New York Jets (Pro Bowl)
2012: Michael Floyd, WR Arizona Cardinals
2011: Nick Fairley, DT Detroit Lions
2010: Brandon Graham, DE Philadelphia Eagles
2009: Brian Orakpo, Edge Washington Redskins (Pro Bowl)
2008: Jonathan Stewart, RB Carolina Panthers (Pro Bowl)
2007: Adam Carriker, DT Los Angeles Rams
There were four Pro Bowl level players taken, Tunsil looks to be on his way, and literally a Pro Bowl player drafted right after the 13th pick in every draft except 2016 right after the pick (14-21).
It is a great position to pick prime talent, you just have to know, which player is the right one.
