It has been a subject of much discussion on these boards and this website for five years, yet the reality has always been the same.

Michael Floyd has everything you want in a number one wide receiver.

Michael Floyd plays like a number one receiver about five to seven times a year.

On Saturday night, the New England Patriots were welcomed to the other side of the Michael Floyd experience.

Floyd finished the game with one catch on three targets for nine yards.

His modest stat line was not the only issue, something Arizona Cardinals fans are all too familiar with.

Floyd struggled in the other facets of the game was well, getting an offensive pass interference call and being mostly a guy who didn’t look like he belonged.

It prompted a strong out pouring on Twitter from Arizona Cardinals fans and reports, as well as bewildered New England Patriots fans and their media.

Some people know me though:

Welcome to the Michael Floyd experience, Patriots.

I fully expect a 4 catch 83 yards and two touchdowns performance from Floyd here in the next couple of games... If the Pats make it that far.
