The NFC West was not very good this year.
In fact, the Arizona Cardinals had the best division record at 4-1-1, the Seahawks finished first in the division, but went 3-2-1 in the division and barely beat San Francisco in week 17.
On top of that, the Patriots played the NFC West and went 3-1 as well, including, of course, a win over the Arizona Cardinals in week one when the Patriots were quarterbacked by the one and only Jimmy Garoppolo.
Which is why Earl Thomas’ shot at Tom Brady and the New England Patriots was... interesting.
Tom Brady has the easiest route... put his ass in our division and see what he does!!! #salty!!

I mean... Really?
The mighty NFC West was not so mighty in 2016.
Sure, in 2015 and 2014 the division was really strong, but the 49ers are literally one of the worst teams in the NFL, maybe one of the worst franchises.
Meanwhile, the Rams haven’t had a winning season since... 2003. They haven’t been .500 since 2006.
For Tom Brady though, it wasn’t enough to draw a response, from ESPN:
"No, I don't think I've ever been one to, you know, say something negative about anybody. It's just not my personality," Brady said during his weekly interview on sports radio WEEI's "Kirk and Callahan" program. "I love Earl. I think he's a helluva player. I really wish him the best in his recovery."
What do you think?
Is Thomas right?
