Arizona Cardinals get the best cornerback in the 2017 NFL Draft in newest mock

The Arizona Cardinals bolster their secondary while preparing for the future as well.

Happy Mock Draft Friday one and all.

It has been a busy week, but we have a good way to get you started for this Friday and your weekend, with a three round mock draft.

This week, we go defense early and offense to follow up, let me know what you think.

I polled a number of people and every... single... one... said that Lattimore should be the pick if it came down to Quincy Wilson or Marshon Lattimore.

I am not great with defensive backs, specifically corners, so I lean on people I trust. Even though Matt Miller had Wilson higher, I went with the people I trust.

Pick 13: Marshon Lattimore, CB, Ohio State

Why Lattimore? Here was a couple quick words I got on him:

“Really good already and not close to how good he can be.”

“Lattimore is my fav (cornerback). Has highest ceiling & recovers better than anyone.”

What Lattimore offers is the ability to really lock down the back end of the defense with two special athletes at the corner position.

I really thought about Charlton and Mathis here, but in the end, it came down to David Njoku and Forrest Lamp, I took the guy who I feel more confident about being an immediate impact player, plus I love Lamp.

Pick 45: Forrest Lamp, OL Western Kentucky

For this team, Lamp gives you the option, right guard this year. Right tackle next year. Left guard next year.

All the options.

Finally, the last round was the toughest.

Carlos Henderson, WR Louisiana Tech

I went back and forth.

I like Smoot and Walker, but not enough to pass on a potential game changer at wide receiver, which I think Henderson can be.

Ethan Pocic and Pat Elflein are two talented interior lineman, but I can’t double up in this draft.

Running backs are good, but not third round good.

That left Evan Engram and the wide receivers.

I don’t know if you can go wrong, but I wanted to grab the kid that I prefer in Henderson.

What would you have done?
