The Cardinals beat the 49ers today at University of Phoenix Stadium. What were the best twitter reactions?
Let’s take a look:
Before the game, the 49ers joined the rest of the NFL in making a show of unity:

Palmer was under duress but also had his share of mistakes as well:
50% of the time, I love Carson Palmer as our QB

In fact, the game’s sluggishness allowed for some breaks from the action to notice some unique and interesting facts from the national media (who apparently were a bit late to the party on AZ’s unique wide receiver jerseys):
Something that no one will care about but I just realized, the Cardinals top four WRs jerseys go:

11 Fitzgerald
12 Brown
13 Brown
14 Nelson
But quickly went back to the slugfest the game turned out to be:
This Cardinals-49ers game is like watching two guys at the old person's home slowly trade blows with their canes.

Niners vs. Cards aka who can be more allergic to the end zone

#Cardinals are a bad football team. I almost feel bad for Bruce Arians.

And perhaps the tweet that summed it up more than any other...
Niners-Cardinals is a gunfight except everyone’s just throwing their gun at someone trying to hit them in the neck really hard.

After the Niners kicked a field goal in overtime, John Brown nearly sealed the victory with a toe-tap that JUST missed.
Idc that they called this incomplete. This is a catch and should have ended the game. My Lord John Brown.. pic.twitter.com/9vAYwuDHAF

But in the end, Larry Fitzgerald was the hero, scoring the only touchdown of the game, continuing his streak of dominating the 49ers.
The #49ers lose a heartbreaker. That guy again...Larry Fitzgerald with his 17th career touchdown catch against the 49ers.

We couldn’t agree more.
