What was social media buzzing about during the lackluster #SFvsAZ matchup? (Besides Larry Legend killing San Fran again)

The Cardinals beat the 49ers today at University of Phoenix Stadium. What were the best twitter reactions?

Let’s take a look:

Before the game, the 49ers joined the rest of the NFL in making a show of unity:

Palmer was under duress but also had his share of mistakes as well:

In fact, the game’s sluggishness allowed for some breaks from the action to notice some unique and interesting facts from the national media (who apparently were a bit late to the party on AZ’s unique wide receiver jerseys):

But quickly went back to the slugfest the game turned out to be:

And perhaps the tweet that summed it up more than any other...

After the Niners kicked a field goal in overtime, John Brown nearly sealed the victory with a toe-tap that JUST missed.

But in the end, Larry Fitzgerald was the hero, scoring the only touchdown of the game, continuing his streak of dominating the 49ers.

We couldn’t agree more.
