After four week, the Cardinals are still in the thick of things.
A quarter of the way through the season, with a laundry list of injuries to key players, the Arizona Cardinals are still in the playoff hunt.
While the playoffs seem improbable at this juncture given the level of play we have seen from the Arizona Cardinals through four games, yet the odds don't lie.

The Cardinals, sitting at 2-2 have a 36% chance of getting into the 2017 playoffs based on NFL history.
Fivethirtyeight.com has them at a 38% to make the playoffs with a 31% chance to win the division.
The interesting part of these numbers from 538 is that the Cowboys have a 39% chance to make the playoffs, yet the Seahawks have a 52% chance to make the playoffs.
Meaning the odds model being used predicts a better finish from the Seahawks than the Cardinals or Cowboys.
New Orleans and Washington are two of the other NFC team ahead of the Cardinals, the Skins I can get, but New Orleans is another story. Of course, their two wins have been far, far more impressive, but they seem to be in a better division.
What do you think about the Arizona Cardinals and the playoffs?
