In a season filled with injuries, the Cardinals have suffered their first blow to a starter that will cost them the season.
#AZCardinals OLB Markus Golden suffered a torn ACL and is out for the season, source said. Crushing for an up-and-coming pass rusher.

The MRI tests confirmed what was feared, Markus Golden has torn his ACL and will miss the remainder of the 2017 NFL season.
While no moves have been made in correspondence, the Cardinals will have a big hole to fill opposite Chandler Jones.
Kareem Martin will get the first crack at “replacing” Golden, but Golden has some irreplaceable qualities.
He is one of the most ferocious competitors I have ever seen. His motor runs hot for 100% of the time he is on the field and his attitude his something the Cardinals will desperately miss.
Haason Reddick will get some looks at the outside linebacker spot, even more now with the Golden injury and Deone Bucannon back to man the inside linebacker position.
It will be interesting to see if they bring in a free agent off the street or if they promote a player from the Practice Squad.
For those wondering, Cap Capi is on the Giants active roster and the Cardinals would have to wait and hope he is cut before having a chance to bring him back.
No matter what the Cardinals do, there will be a massive hole on the defense.
Get well soon, Markus.
