Week 8 College Football Open Thread

Talk about the 2017 college football season with Revenge of the Birds.

NCAA Football: Notre Dame at Texas Kevin Jairaj-USA TODAY Sports

It has been a busy week for the Arizona Cardinals, but one thing that never ends is the NFL Draft.

The 2018 NFL Draft may be 188 days away, but preparing never ends.

Let’s take a look at the best games in week eight of the college football season.

#10 Oklahoma State at Texas, 9am, ABC

The Cowboys have a couple of really talented prospects in James Washington and Mason Rudolph. The Longhorns boast a strong linebacker prospect in Malik Jefferson.

Syracuse at #8 Miami, 12:30pm, ESPN

Nick Linder and K.C. McDermott are two names on the Hurricanes offensive line to know. The Cardinals need help along the offensive line. Color me interested.

North Carolina at #14 Virginia Tech, 12:30p, ESPN2

Tech boast a couple of big defensive prospects, and by big I mean 6-3 cornerback Adonis Alexander, 6-2 Brandon Facyson and 6-0 Greg Stroman.

#19 Michigan at #2 Penn State, 4:30pm, ABC

Everyone knows Saquon Barkley, but Michigan’s Maurice Hurst could be a great fit in Arizona on the defensive line, and Penn State’s Marcus Allen are two of my favorite prospects to know.

#11 USC at #13 Notre Dame, 4:30pm, NBC

Cameron Smith is a linebacker, Marvell Tell III is a S and Iman Marshall is a CB, all from USC to know.

Quenton Nelson is maybe the best offensive line prospect in the 2018 draft and he and Mike McGlinchey have been rocks for the Irish.
