It was absolutely the worst possible scenario for the Arizona Cardinals.
Not only were they embarrassed by the Los Angeles Rams, Carson Palmer was injured with a non-throwing arm issue.
The extent, we'll find out, but Palmer is out at least eight weeks according to Bruce Arians.

What do you make of the Arizona Cardinals at this stage?
They're not contenders in the NFC West.
Even if they maintain pace with a win over the 49ers after the bye week, they are not close to the Rams.
What does this mean moving forward?
Is it time to see Blaine Gabbert?
The 2017 is not what the Cardinals expected.
What happens next will define the Steve Keim and Bruce Arians era.
