The Arizona Cardinals have made the decision and placed Carson Palmer on injured reserve, meaning the second opinion of a 4-6 recovery was not an option after all was said and done.
The Cardinals have lost running back David Johnson, guard Mike Iupati and outside linebacker Markus Golden so far this season.
Iupati and Golden for the season, now the question is whether David Johnson and Carson Palmer will be the players coming off IR. That means rookie running back, T.J. Logan would lose the opportunity to come back this season.
Palmer has thrown for 1,978 yards, nine touchdowns and seven interceptions on the season.
He also has attempted the most passes in the NFL this season, at 267.
The pass attempts don't include Palmer's 22 sacks he's taken on the season either.
Would you bring Palmer back this season for the last two or three games if he is healthy?
