It has been an interesting start to the 2017 NFL season.
There is really nothing that makes sense in the NFL right now.
How many teams are actually good? Who is really good? Is anyone outside of the lone undefeated team, the Kansas City Chiefs?
Let’s take a look at this weeks power rankings.
The Undefeated
It wasn’t pretty on Monday Night. Actually, it was beautiful. The Chiefs, missing their entire interior offensive line, beat up a good Washington Redskins defense.
Kansas City Chiefs
Ranking the Single Losses (3-1)
This is, again where you can really put them in any order you want to. I am going by what I have been able to watch week-to-week. There are a lot of teams that look good then bad, there are some teams I just can’t put my finger on yet.
2. Detroit Lions - Should be undefeated if not for some interesting work by the officials.
3. Atlanta Falcons - I know Atlanta beat Detroit. But, they shouldn’t have and then they lost to Buffalo, who I am still ranking behind them.
8. Green Bay Packers - If the Packers get healthy, they are my pick to come out of the NFC.
11. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2-1)
The Mess in the Middle (2-2)
Again, rank these teams in any order and I will listen. I think what the Skins did against the Chiefs last night was the most impressive loss of any team in this group.
12. Washington Redskins
14. Houston Texans
15. Seattle Seahawks
16. Dallas Cowboys
18. Tennessee Titans
22. Baltimore Ravens
23. Oakland Raiders
24. New York Jets
Still Alive... but Barely (1-3)
The Bengals have a weird, make a run, feeling to them. Maybe because I don’t buy anyone in the AFC North, but they feel like they could be a Wild Card threat. The rest, no way.
25. Cincinnati Bengals
27. Miami Dolphins
28. Chicago Bears
The Battle for the First Pick (0-4)
The Chargers and Giants are going to win football games this year, they have too. Yet, for four weeks, they are among the four worst teams in the NFL.
29. Los Angeles Chargers
30. New York Giants
32. Cleveland Browns
