Closing the book on the first half, the Rams, and Carson Palmer

NFL: Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Arizona Cardinals Joe Camporeale-USA TODAY Sports

The Arizona Cardinals looked completely awful against the Los Angeles Rams. Perhaps the worst effort and result in the Bruce Arians era.

Yet, that wasn’t even really the topic of the show.

Oh sure, we hit on some of the game, but we wanted to look forward as much as possible.

We discussed the Carson Palmer injury and what it means for the team moving forward. Then we had the discussion on Stanton vs Gabbert.

We both understand the reason they are going to Stanton, it is the same reason they didn’t go out and sign Kaepernick, because he wouldn’t play in front of Bruce Arians guy, Drew Stanton.

Speaking of Arians, the report of his retirement came out the day of the show, so of course we had to discuss that.

There is a lot in the episode, so sit back, relax and enjoy.

Here are the time stamps for the topics on the show:

(2:50) Palmer’s broken arm, is he done, can he return this year?

(13:35) Drew Stanton or Blaine Gabbert?

(22:25) Colin Kaepernick?

(26:39) Bruce Arians’ retirement rumors

(35:27) What happened in the 33-0 loss to the Rams
