Across the SB Nation NFL team sites, a common post has becone "Which [opposing team's] player would [your favorite team's] fans take?"
This week, with the Arizona Cardinals heading east to take on the Philadelphia Eagles it is time to ask the question and let you respond.
Offense
Carson Wentz - Obviously the problem in Arizona is not the quarterback. However, how good would it feel to have a young, mobile QB to continue to build around over the next… decade.
LaGarrette Blount - If you gave me this question before the season, Blount wouldn't have been one of the first 30 players named. Now, if I had to take just one player for this season only, it may be Blount. The physical running style behind this sieve of an offensive line may give at least a semblance of a passable rushing attack.
Cheating Here
The Eagles OLine - ask me to take just one and I don't know which one I would pick. Do you take one of the five best left tackles in the NFL or one of the three best right tackles? Do you take one of the five best centers? Do you take one of their improving young guards? Just give me this offensive line and the Cardinals are the favorites in the NFC West.
If you make me pick one, it's Lane Johnson. Young, controlled contract wise, give me two bookends and hope Humphries plays up to his potential.
Defense
Fletcher Cox - The Eagles have a plethora of good defensive players. This is the only acceptable answer. Cox is one of the best defensive players in the NFL. He's young, he is a piece in which most teams dream of finding.
