There is a continuous question that comes with the NFL.
How do you find a quarterback?
Once you find the quarterback, how do you develop that quarterback? Do they sit and learn, do they play and take their lumps?
How much is it worth to trade up for a quarterback?
All of those questions matter, but maybe nothing matters quite as much as the spot.
Why does the spot matter?
Well, who gets their hands on a quarterback from a coaching perspective, can usually make or break the quarterback.
The problem is too often coaches and quarterbacks just don't mesh and both careers are ruined.
Diante Lee of Inside the Pylon and Setting the Edge stopped by the podcast to talk about this.
It's a great conversation, on that can help with the quarterback conundrum and why so many good players miss and so many organizations are afraid to pull the trigger.
Sit back, relax and enjoy.
