It has been one of the most successful stretches in Arizona Cardinals history, yet for many, it seems like the window is closed.
That is not to say it is, everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but the responses on Twitter to the Arizona Cardinals blowout loss to the Philadelphia Eagles from not just Cardinals fans, but also media from around the NFL was telling.
#Cardinals multi-year window of opportunity is officially closed.

Carson Wentz dropped 3 TDs. The first quarter is not even over yet. The Cardinals window is closed.

Not saying the Cardinals window has closed but the window has closed.

Cardinals missed their window

Lot of third-and-long check downs by Cardinals today. I miss the old Cardinals

Arians never leaves in an extra blocker. No risk it, no biscuit and all that. They out of biscuits.

The window didn’t just close on Arizona, it was slammed shut. #ARIvsPHI

31-7 at end of 3. Among top three ugliest games under Arians. N.O. in 13 and NFC title game in 15 come to mind.

It hasn’t been a pretty season. The Cardinals have been absolutely destroyed by injuries this season, yet the talent that is out there, it is not playing anywhere near the level that has become an expectation of this regime.
It may not be time to bury this team, they are just 2-3 and this was an expected loss, maybe the way it occurred was not, but they have to do something in a hurry if they want to salvage anything this season.
If not, then this could be time to start the draft watch for 2018.
