The Arizona Cardinals are looking for help at the wide receiver position and they are doing it within the organization.

Chad Williams has been on the roster all season, inactive some Sunday’s, but he has been with the team all season.

Now, he’ll be joined by Carlton Agudosi, who is being elevated off the practice squad.

The Cardinals made it a point of emphasis that they would be making some moves within the receiving corps and they did so, even if it is just adjusting guys that are already on the roster.

Williams is a very talented athlete who can make plays with the ball in his hands.

Agudosi is a big bodied wide receiver who wins contested catches...

Those are two types of wide receivers that are not on the roster, or getting playing time at this point.

So now, the Cardinals are going to go forward with two receivers who have been getting a lot of reps before the last couple of weeks with the new starting quarterback in Blaine Gabbert.

The one issue is they have to go against the Jacksonville Jaguars in game one. The Cardinals get the best pass defense in the NFL.

Jalen Ramsey or A.J. Bouye will be on Larry Fitzgerald. That means someone else gets the problem with the other extremely talented cornerback.

More than that, the Jaguars also have the best pass rushing unit in the NFL.

It will be a tall task... Welcome to the show, rooks.
