There has been a question regarding who and when players for the Arizona Cardinals may come off of the injured reserve.
The answer seems to be no one and not this season.
Arians: None of the guys on IR have made expected progress in rehab, so as of today, no one is expected to return this season.

At least, that seems to be what Bruce Arians is projecting moving forward.
This shouldn't come as a surprise. The Cardinals are out of playoffs at this juncture and are heading into the teeth of a tough portion on their schedule.
Why make a decision now on players coming back when it may not be worth it for the players and maybe the team overall?
While you want to see David Johnson and Carson Palmer again, maybe it makes more sense to leave them on the shelf and let them get healthy all offseason.
It seems to be better at this juncture to give players a chance to prove themselves moving forward. We know what Palmer and Johnson offer.
The one disappointment may be not getting to see any of T.J. Logan in year one.
No matter how you slice it, it seems like a lost season in more ways than one.
