Thanksgiving Day Open Thread: Talk football, talk turkey and anything else

Your Thanksgiving Day Open Thread.

NFL: Minnesota Vikings at Detroit Lions Tim Fuller-USA TODAY Sports

Happy Thanksgiving one and all and welcome to the one, true NFL Thursday.

Thanksgiving football is one of my favorite days of the year. Go to my in-laws, enjoy a day of food, family and drinks while watching a cornucopia of NFL football.

It was special and even with the regular Thursday Night Football games, it still is for me.

This year, we have a great early game, a potentially good afternoon game and an old rivalry game for Thursday Night, which we'll have a thread for later.

So talk turkey, talk football, vent about your family, or extended family that's driving you crazy and enjoy the games.

Minnesota Vikings (8-2) at Detroit Lions (6-4), 10:30am, Fox

The Vikings, the 8-2 Vikings, are on a roll with Case Keenum at the helm, but it's been a lot of Mike Zimmer and his phenomenal defense.

The Lions have been steady, if unspectacular, but have games were they look just downright unbeatable and others where you wonder how they're a playoff team.

Los Angeles Chargers (4-6) at Dallas Cowboys (5-5), 2:30pm, CBS

The Chargers have been emerging while the Cowboys have been faltering.

The Cowboys need to find a way to right the ship, while the Chargers just want to keep marching on.

Can Dak Prescott and the Cowboys offense find their rhythm? Will the Cowboys defense be able to stop the dynamic and diverse Chargers defense, mainly their amazing pass rush with Melvin Ingram and Joey Bosa?
