What a win it was for the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday over the Jacksonville Jaguars.
The Jaguars loss bumped them down to the Wild Card and put the Cardinals a little bit closer to the playoffs, even if it is a longshot.
It also put them back from a top ten pick in the 2018 NFL Draft, to now picking at 13 according to Tankathon NFL.
- Cleveland Browns (0-11)
2. San Francisco 49ers (1-10)
3. New York Giants (2-9)
4. Denver Broncos (3-8)
5. Indianapolis Colts (3-8)
6. Chicago Bears (3-8)
7. Cleveland Browns via Houston Texans (4-7)
8. New York Jets (4-7)
9. Miami Dolphins (4-7)
10. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (4-7)
11. Los Angeles Chargers (5-6)
12. Cincinnati Bengals (5-6)
13. Arizona Cardinals (5-6)
14. Oakland Raiders (5-6)
15. Dallas Cowboys (5-6)
16. Washington Redskins (5-6)
17. Green Bay Packers (5-6)
18. Buffalo Bills (6-5)
19. Detroit Lions (6-5)
20. Seattle Seahawks (7-4)
The Cardinals with the win sit at the 13th pick… with a loss they would be picking seventh overall.
It is a razor thin margin at this point in the difference in a top seven pick and picking near 20.
The Arizona Cardinals remaining schedule:
vs Los Angeles Rams (8-3)
vs Tennessee Titans (7-4)
@ Washington Redskins (5-6)
vs New York Giants (2-9)
@ Seattle Seahawks (7-4)
There's a real chance, depending on which team shows up, that the Cardinals could lose or win out.
We've seen the highs and lows of the Rams, Titans and Skins and we know the Seahawks are a beatable team.
After the win over the Jags, I'm back on the 7-9 bandwagon… which will likely put AZ in the 15-18 range draft wise.
Where do you see them finishing?
