The season is one where every week brings a new feeling.
Could the Arizona Cardinals really still be in playoff contention, or is math just working on their side right now?
Are they going to win enough games to keep themselves out of the top ten in the 2018 NFL Draft?
That's the interesting part moving forward.
The Cardinals have not quit on Bruce Arians and the staff of the Cardinals.
The defense seems to have turned the corner and the offense is… Well, bad but still.
The win over the Titans pushed the Cardinals back into the middle of round one, although the Dolphins surprise win over the Patriots moved them back up one spot.
Here is the 2018 NFL Draft order as of 12/12/17:
- Cleveland Browns
- New York Giants
- Indianapolis Colts
- San Francisco 49ers
- Denver Broncos
- Cleveland Browns via Houston Texans
- Chicago Bears
- Tampa Bay Buccaneers
- Cincinnati Bengals
- New York Jets
- Washington Redskins
- Arizona Cardinals
- Oakland Raiders
- Miami Dolphins
- Baltimore Ravens
- Los Angeles Chargers
- Dallas Cowboys
- Detroit Lions
- Green Bay Packers
- Seattle Seahawks
The Cardinals sit with one of the worst strength of schedules in the NFL, only the Bengals is worse inside teams picking top 15, so they'll win most of the tie-breakers that come out of these things.
Picking 12th, that would have landed Marshon Lattimore or Deshaun Watson from last year. Yet, is there the same depth of dynamic talent in this draft?
Watson looked like the last blue chipper, early at least.
The Cardinals face two teams picking front of them over their last three games.
How high or low do they go?
