The Arizona Cardinals came into today’s game against the Washington Redskins without a touchdown in their last 6 quarters.

After today’s game it is now the last 10 quarters as they fell to the Washington Redskins 20-15.

In the first half it was another struggle for Blaine Gabbert and the Arizona Cardinals offense. This time however the defense was not able to make plays early and the Cardinals fell into a 14-6 hole in the second quarter.

Things looked to get better but Gabbert threw a terrible interception in the red-zone and the Washington Redskins looked to be able to out the game away going into halftime.

However the defense answered and caused a fumble deep in the Redskins territory setting the Cardinals up for a Phil Dawson field goal. In the second half it was another defensive battle as the defense setup the offensive as the offense struggled for the second game in a row.

Gabbert played his worse game as an Arizona Cardinal. The offensive line didn’t give him much help but this game showed his warts more than any other this season.

In the second half the defense did their part but it came down to could Blaine Gabbert win the football game for the Arizona Cardinals?

The answer is resounding no as the offense co tinies to falter as they had to settle for five Phil Dawson field goals.

In the NFL field goals are not going to win you games consistently.
