Merry Christmas one and all and Happy Holidays to all. I hope today is as relaxing and enjoyable as possible for you.
This has been an especially interesting year for the Arizona Cardinals.
First, they again experienced massive setback in the injury departments, they had to go to Blaine Gabbert as their quarterback for five games... That’s how dire things were for a time.
Yet, for Christmas, we have to hand out some presents... These will be with the idea of next year, but let’s get to it.
Bruce Arians - One more year. Arians has the team still. Look at what he’s been able to put together with this injury situation. Give him one more season with a healthy team, well a healthy offense, and let’s let him do his thing in a truly All or Nothing season.
Carson Palmer - An offensive line. Not just an offensive line, but a healthy offensive line. Give Palmer a reason to stay and bridge the gap from 2018 to 2019.
David Johnson - Health.
Larry Fitzgerald - One more chance. One more run at a ring, with a team around him that is able to stay at his level of play and health for a full run.
James Bettcher - The full stable of talent of players at his disposal from the jump.
Robert Nkemdiche - The football he scored his first NFL touchdown with and the launching pad he and the Cardinals need for him to be a star.
Deone Bucannon - Health.
Haason Reddick - One position to play.
Tyrann Mathieu - An understanding of his role on this team and acceptance that both Mathieu and the Cardinals need each other.
Budda Baker - The platform to be great.
Patrick Peterson - A cornerback two.
Steve Keim - A response from his 2015, 2016 and 2017 draft classes that move the Cardinals forward.
Arizona Cardinals Fans - A season that is not set back by flux of change at key positions, injuries to main players, and a run to the Super Bowl in 2019 in Atlanta, Georgia.
Revenge of the Birds Readers - A site that works for you on a daily basis.
Merry Christmas.
