For the final time this year, the Arizona Cardinals are taking the football field. It is a game with little merit to define their season, but from an emotional standpoint, the Cardinals are looking at this as their playoff game.
A season full of trials and tribulations has led them to this point, where despite all the injuries, the rotation of quarterbacks and the up and down defense, they can finish .500.
Sure, .500 is the definition of average, but if I told you before the season the Cardinals would lose their three most important players on offense, yes Larry Fitzgerald is still healthy and doing wonderfully, but a great wide receiver is the cherry on top, not the driving force unless their name is Antonio Brown.
Yet, here they are, not only with a chance to finish at .500, but to keep their rivals out of the playoffs along side them.
What more could they ask for in a season like this?
