More reports surface that today will be Bruce Arians final game as Arizona Cardinals coach

This could be it for Bruce Arians and the Arizona Cardinals.

The reports continue to come out and the news may be fake, but from some digging around with a couple of people I trust, the news could be true.

ESPN has joined Pro Football Weekly in reporting that today will be Bruce Arians last game with the Arizona Cardinals.

I reached out to one of the people I trust, not affiliated with either ESPN or PFW, had this to say:

“99% retiring. Already informed FO and team.”

Whether this is true or not, well I think we'll find out soon.

Sauces (sources for those unfamiliar) are also saying that the Cardinals are already identifying outside candidates to go alone with the in house ones.

Ben Allbright said this on Twitter:

Steve Wilks is the Carolina Panthers defensive coordinator. He's a young, aggressive and really well liked and thought of by the Panthers and players.

We'll see if anything comes of this.

99% is a lot, but that leaves some wiggle room.

I've been saying for a while that if this is Arians decision, then good for him.

He deserves to go out how he wants.

Let's hope it starts, or in this case ends, with a final win and standing atop the mountain as winningest coach in franchise history.

If this is the end, thank you Coach Arians for everything you've given this town and team.

The Cardinals are better off now than when you came in.
