Fighting in the NFL or football in general is dumb. Let’s face it, tempers get hot, but how smart can you be to throw a fist at another man’s face when it is protected by a football helmet?
Yet, to Taylor Lewan of the Tennessee Titans, he’d like to see a little more action in NFL games:
The @NFL should take a page out of the @NHL book and let us fight.

While I disagree wholeheartedly with the idea, it didn’t stop my mind from wondering to that place.
Who would be the Arizona Cardinals enforcer?
I mean, we know there would be fights against the Seahawks and Rams, so who would you want in there?
The obvious would be the mammoth Jared Veldheer who resembles a character out of a comic more than a football player with his size and build:
My job is to create big, strong, athletic dudes. #missionaccomplished @Veldheer68 @camwhite23 @JDPeterson75 pic.twitter.com/3S6rLfUO2q

Yet for me, with his play on the field and his love for doing the dirty work, I’d pick Markus Golden.
Golden is a pitbull, his motor never stops and I just feel like he would be the perfect enforcer for the Arizona Cardinals.
What about you?
