The Arizona Cardinals have a need on their defense.
They only Deone Bucannon at the inside linebacker position 72 days before the 2017 NFL Draft.
This draft though, has talent at the position and sitting at the 13th pick, the Arizona Cardinals likely had a chance at the top prospects within that positional group.
Now, there are some questions they have to ask themselves.
Reuben Foster, maybe the best and most complete linebacker in this class, has had surgery on his right rotator cuff:
Former Alabama LB Reuben Foster recently had right rotator cuff surgery, a league source said. Teams were informed of the surgery.

It is a huge blow to this class that maybe the best player at his position will be out for most of the process, but will also now have to answer questions about the grinder that is the Alabama career for these guys.
A number of Bama prospects deal with physical punishment that comes with playing for the best college football team in the land. That means the team meetings and the medicals will be a big deal for Foster moving forward.
Foster's projected recovery is about four months, which is well ahead of the start of training camps in July.

So Foster joins Malik Hooker as one of the top players in this draft who will not do anything at the combine, but will be meeting with teams still.
However, Foster will meet with teams over the course of the week in Indianapolis.

What do you think?
Is this going to be a blessing for the Cardinals where one of the best prospects may fall to them, or does this make him untouchable for the Cardinals in your eyes?
