The 2017 NFL Draft is about finding certain positions for the Arizona Cardinals future, but also keeping an eye on the present.
However, the Arizona Cardinals have had, or have two quarterbacks like two of the prospects available to draft in the 2017 NFL Draft.
Last week, Justin and I discussed our 2017 NFL Draft quarterback rankings, you should listen to that, it will be attached at the bottom.
Two names that were lower than you will find on most boards were Davis Webb and Nathan Peterman.
Webb reminds me of John Skelton, who started 17 games for the Arizona Cardinals from 2010-2012.
Webb has a big build and has some good athleticism, with a giant arm.
Peterman reminds me of Drew Stanton. A guy who can come in and keep you on rhythm offensively, but someone you will likely be looking to replace every year you think he is a starter or try and make him a starter.
Webb and Peterman are guys who should be drafted on day three.
Of course, there is always the chance I am wrong, which is great if the Cardinals decide to draft one of them.
Lance Zierlein of NFL.com comps Peterman to Derek Carr. Which would be fine if Peterman had a better arm.
Zierlein gives Webb a comp of Brock Osweiler, which is... probably not one you want in the NFL.
What do you think?
Do these guys interest you as an Arizona Cardinals fans?
We talk about Webb at the 43 minute mark and Peterman at the 47:30 mark.
