One of the biggest questions in the 2017 offseason is who is going to come back to the Arizona Cardinals.
Tony Jefferson is one of those players who some would love to see come back, others are not so interested, but it seemed like the Arizona Cardinals were interested if the price was right.

Not just 20 minutes earlier though, Matt Miller of Bleacher Report reported that Tony Jefferson is likely to hit free agency and command more than $7 million a year.
I'm told Tony Jefferson will hit the free agent market. Expectation from league sources is $7M+ per season.

With the Arizona Cardinals limited budget, plus the likelihood of Chandler Jones being franchised, it would be unlikely that would be in the Arizona Cardinals budget.
Is Tony Jefferson worth $7 million a year?
Probably.
Is he worth that much to the Arizona Cardinals? Unlikely, as we have seen similar production from the safety position from different players.
No matter what it is, the Arizona Cardinals are unlikely to be able to afford having Jefferson back in 2017.
