While it is not official, it seems all but a formality now that Carson Palmer will be back in the fold with the Arizona Cardinals in 2017.
With the return of veteran wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald, it almost is a foregone conclusion now that Palmer will be back.
Those who know them well say Carson Palmer and Larry Fitzgerald are tied at the hip. With Fitz returning, good sign for Carson Palmer, too.

With Fitz back, Palmer is likely to follow.
It makes sense.
Larry Fitzgerald will likely not want to play with a new quarterback... again.
Palmer will come back to a situation that has made him one of the better quarterbacks statistically in the NFL in three of the last four seasons.
He comes back to a team with an offense that should have everyone back as a starter, maybe with the exception of right guard.
They have a defense that has been one of the top 10 in the NFL in each of the last four seasons as well.
It is the best situation Palmer has had in his career, he likely wants to ride that one more season, with Larry Fitzgerald.
Maybe this will be the end for both, in which case, hopefully they have the chance to end it the right way.
