Despite signing Jermaine Gresham to a big contract two weeks ago, there was never a question if the Cardinals were still in the market for a second tight end.
The question simply became, how early would they be willing to draft one?
Well, according to Tony Pauline, they are scheduled to meet with Toledo tight end Michael Roberts, so late day two or early day three would be the correct answer.

Roberts is exactly what the Arizona Cardinals want in a tight end. He is adept at working in a number of different positions, whether inline, as an H-back, or split out, Roberts has worked out well as a blocker and receiver.
Despite his limited athletic testing numbers, Roberts was a dynamic red zone threat, catching 16 touchdowns in 2016.
Roberts limited athleticism is why he is not talked about earlier in the draft, but no tight end displayed a better ability to move the chains and be a consistent red zone threat.
His cost makes him even more attractive, if he really is being looked at as a late day two or even a day three option.
