Let the rumors commence.
After meeting with Mitchell Trubisky at the NFL Combine, there was much made about the fact that no NFL head coaches made their way to the North Carolina signal callers Pro Day.
#Browns Hue Jackson isn't the only one. I just heard ESPN say that no #NFL head coaches are at Mitch Trubisky's Pro Day at NC today

That would seem significant, except that many teams have already met with Trubisky, including the Arizona Cardinals at the combine and they had important decision makers out to see Trubisky at his pro day.
Arizona Cardinals QB coach Byron Leftwich on hand to watch Mitch Trubisky at UNC pro day
— Tony Pauline (@TonyPauline) March 21, 2017
Leftwich is in his first gig as an NFL coach, but one thing we know about Bruce Arians is, that he never shies away from giving his coaches important responsibilities.
It starts at getting to know a player in Trubisky who could potentially be the piece that the Arizona Cardinals choose to be the post Palmer answer at the quarterback position.
Sending Leftwich tells us that the Cardinals either trust Leftwich in terms of the fundamentals of quarterback play and knowing what they are looking for... Or they needed to get Leftwich out of the office and into the field.
Either way, it should be fun to watch what happens.
