There is zero denying that the Arizona Cardinals are doing their homework as far as the 2017 NFL Draft class goes.
More than anything, they are investing their time and energy heavily into the quarterbacks in the draft.
After talking to Deshaun Watson and Mitch Trubisky at the combine, they have also made voyages out to see Trubisky at his pro day, sending quarterbacks coach Byron Leftwich to take in the quarterbacks work.
Well, after sending the most green member of their offensive staff to see Trubisky, they sent maybe the most veteran coach in the NFL, Tom Moore, to take in Nathan Peterman’s pro day at Pittsburgh.
Lions head coach Jim Caldwell, Raiders GM Reggie McKenzkie, Tom Moore (Peyton Manning's OC in Indy, and Ken Whisenhunt among the notables.

In terms of quarterbacks, I believe Nathan Peterman is similar to Drew Stanton, his floor is long term backup in this league, maybe his ceiling is more similar to Kirk Cousins, which I have seen comparisons too, but it is just not for me.
However, the juxtaposition of coaching experience, Leftwich and Moore, both going to quarterback pro days, is very intriguing.
I would love to hear why Moore to Pitt and Leftwich to Carolina, maybe someday we will find out.
