It is not an NFL meeting without the Arizona Cardinals Bruce Arians giving us a million things to talk about. While we will dive into specifics over the course of today, let’s get everything he had to say out there so we can figure out what the best of the best was from Arians.
Arians said Cardinals have had a QB name on a card in the draft a couple of times, but was taken by other team.

This is going to be talked about Friday, I will tell you what I have heard, which means it is likely wrong, and then we can just generally speculate.
Trading up in draft for QB in any round would be "organizational decision."

Hello...
Arians said the comp picks coming in 2018 could allow #AZCardinals to trade up this year. "It's going to be a really fun draft."
— Kyle Odegard (@Kyle_Odegard) March 29, 2017
Why do they want to hurt me?
Arians feels need to find QB for organization. "I saw what happened to Kenny (Whisenhunt). I don't want that to happen again."
— Darren Urban (@Cardschatter) March 29, 2017
To be fair, Whiz has been a really good OC, he just isn’t cut out to be a head coach.
Arians: Everyone thinks we stop-gapped with Karlos Dansby and Antoine Bethea, but I think they both have a lot left.
— Darren Urban (@Cardschatter) March 29, 2017
On Bethea... Sure. But, they gave Dansby a one year deal, so...
Bruce Arians fine with WR group as it is. "A top-round pick isn't necessary."

Two or so years ago I wrote that receivers for Arians come from the later rounds, round two is the earliest I have seen a receiver drafted when Arians was on a staff. He has complete faith in his ability to find quality receivers on day two and three.
I never thought a wide receiver was in play on day one, this still could mean nothing, but it has been true for Arians entire career.
Bruce Arians said the Cardinals will use tackling dummies in the off-season workouts including OTA's. He thinks it will help with tackling.

Couldn’t hurt.
Arians: Evan Bohem goes into offseason work as starting right guard.
— Darren Urban (@Cardschatter) March 29, 2017
Arians says one QB coming out of the draft is ready so start. Didn't say whom. Others will need to learn for at least a year.
— Kent Somers (@kentsomers) March 29, 2017
Care to speculate?
Arians believes there aren't many plug-and-play quarterbacks in this draft, but several that have the talent if given time to learn.
— Kyle Odegard (@Kyle_Odegard) March 29, 2017
Smoke em if you got em.
Andre Ellington will be in the wide receiver room this offseason.
— Kyle Odegard (@Kyle_Odegard) March 29, 2017
Check out Andy’s article on this yesterday.
Bruce Arians said they are looking for KR-PR in the draft... They need to improve regarding field position.
— Mike Jurecki (@mikejurecki) March 29, 2017
Carlos... Henderson?
Arians: David Johnson "still too young" to overuse. Carries OK, wants to keep Johnson at 30 touches.
— Darren Urban (@Cardschatter) March 29, 2017
This is something I disagree with. How much can you expect a player to go? You use them and then find a replacement, even if they are great like David Johnson.
Harlan Miller will play safety. He was drafted as a CB but played well at safety at end of season.
— Kyle Odegard (@Kyle_Odegard) March 29, 2017
Doesn’t really change anything in terms of needs.
Arians would love to work with a rookie quarterback. He said mentoring Andrew Luck in Indianapolis rejuvenated him.
— Kyle Odegard (@Kyle_Odegard) March 29, 2017
The best quarterback prospect of the century... Probably was exciting.
Love a good Bruce Arians press conference.
