The NFL has announced the 2017 NFL preseason schedule and for the Arizona Cardinals, we knew they would have five games this year, we were just waiting on the when and where.
Well, wait no more:
Thursday, August 3 at 8:00 PM ET (5:00 PM MST)
Hall of Fame Game: Arizona vs. Dallas Cowboys (Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium, Canton, OH)
Preseason Week 1 (August 10-14) *
Oakland Raiders at Arizona (University of Phoenix Stadium)
Preseason Week 2 (August 17-21) *
Chicago Bears at Arizona (University of Phoenix Stadium)
Preseason Week 3 (August 24-27) *
Arizona at Atlanta Falcons (Mercedes-Benz Stadium)
Preseason Week 4 (August 31-September 1) *
Arizona at Denver Broncos (Sports Authority Field at Mile High)
The usual suspects of Oakland and Denver are on the schedule, but the Cardinals will be hosting the Chicago Bears in their third preseason game. Then, the Arizona Cardinals have the opportunity to open up the Mercedes-Benz Stadium going out to take on the 2016 NFC Champion Atlanta Falcons in the Falcons first home game.
We may see more action for the Cardinals in week two, their third game, than normal, which will be nice for the Arizona Cardinals and their fans, as they have not had a game with a lot of starters involved in years.
