2017 NFL Draft: Arizona Cardinals Consensus Mock Draft

The numbers are down, but the favorite remains the same.

With the 2017 NFL Draft only nine days away (thank goodness), the mock drafts are in overload.

Last week, our first consensus mock draft showed Deshaun Watson as the overwhelming favorite at 23.3% of 30 mock drafts from the beginning of April had him as the selection for the Arizona Cardinals.

Now, a week later, with 50 mock drafts covering from 4/4/2017 through Monday, 4/17/17, the numbers have shifted.

Watson is still the favorite, but Patrick Mahomes has closed the gap and Mike Williams has again crept up the rankings, out ranking last weeks hot name of John Ross.

Also, the linebackers are now getting some run, so either mockers are listening to Cardinals fans, or the idea that linebackers being drafted in the top 10 is finally dying down.

Here is the newest consensus mock draft for the Arizona Cardinals.

2017 NFL Draft: Arizona Cardinals consensus mock draft

Arizona Cardinals Pick 13 Frequency
Arizona Cardinals Pick 13 Frequency
Deshaun Watson, QB, Clemson 18.37%
Patrick Mahomes II, QB, Texas Tech 14%
DeShone Kizer, QB, Notre Dame 10%
Corey Davis, WR, W Michigan 10%
Mike Williams, WR, Clemson 8%
John Ross, WR, Washington 6%
Mitch Trubisky, QB, North Carolina 6%
O.J. Howard, TE, Alabama 6.12%
Reuben Foster, LB, Alabama 4.08%
Gareon Conley, CB, Ohio State 4.08%
Solomon Thomas, DE, Stanford 4.08%
Tre'Davious White, CB, LSU 2.04%
Haason Reddick, LB, Temple 2.04%
Chidobe Awuzie, CB, Colorado 2.04%
Marshon Lattimore, CB, Ohio State 2.04%

Chidobe Awuzie is a really interesting name. I love the player, but it shows the disconnect between how valuable the corner class is.

I picked up Awuzie at 45 in the SB Nation Mock Draft, but 2% of mocks have him with the Cardinals at 13.

That seems... rich.

What do you think of the 50 mocks?
