Arizona Cardinals 2017 NFL Draft Prospect Vote: Falling stars vote off

What happens if a consensus pick falls? Who would you rather it be?

NCAA Football: Sun Bowl-Stanford vs North Carolina Ivan Pierre Aguirre-USA TODAY Sports

With only 8 days until the 2017 NFL Draft we are on our way to having the Revenge of the Birds Big Board for the Arizona Cardinals.

After a busy Tuesday where I was unable to update the situation or get a poll posted, we now have two today.

Through nine votes, we have:

Corey Davis, WR, Western Michigan
Reuben Foster, LB, Alabama
Jonathan Allen, DL, Alabama
Gareon Conley, CB, Ohio State
Jamal Adams, S, LSU
Patrick Mahomes II, QB, Texas Tech
Malik McDowell, DL, Michigan State
Haason Reddick, LB, Temple
Jabrill Peppers, DB, Michigan

That is a good looking nine man board so far. We can double it over the next eight days though. Hopefully once we have those 18 names, we will be happy with the pick.

Today’s second vote is on a chance. Likely neither prospect will be available, but they keep popping up later and later in certain picks.

If you could choose one to fall, which one would you choose?

Solomon Thomas, Edge, Stanford - He seems to be a consensus top pick in this draft, and for good reason.

Thomas is a maniac off the edge, he has the ability to win from multiple places along the line. He would be an interesting cog in the Arizona Cardinals defense, giving them another pass rusher, but also he could potentially play along the defensive line in a number of rotations.

It is unlikely, but you build you board with the top players, sans Myles Garrett, and let the board fall as it may.

Marshon Lattimore, CB, Ohio State - One of my favorite past times in the NFL Draft world is... Consensus top pick is going to fall chatter...

Now we are seeing that Lattimore may not even be the first cornerback off the board as it looks like Gareon Conley is getting pushed up.

If Lattimore were to fall, you’d think he would be the ideal fit across from Patrick Peterson.

There are concerns, he has trouble staying healthy, he has one year only of production at the position.

His hamstrings are made of tissue paper apparently.

Yet, he seems like the most natural fit for the Arizona Cardinals.

That begs the question... Who would you rather have?
