While there are numerous issues to work out, one that is clear as of now for the Arizona Cardinals on the initial reinstatement of Daryl Washington is, he is still under contract for four more years with the team.
Washington’s contract: frozen when suspended. under contract 4 more years.

That also means, now reinstated that the Arizona Cardinals are back on the hook for that contract.
There seems to be an out in a couple of ways. Washington is not owed much in terms of actual salary, so if for some reason the team wants to continue to take chances on the player, he would be a relatively cheap contract on the roster. Whether he deserves that chance is another discussion for another day.
Also, Washington is not up for more suspension from the NFL for his domestic violence incident, per Kent Somers, so there is that as well.
D-Wash faces no future discipline for DV. NFL denied previous reinstatement partly because of that. https://t.co/lYImfkXrAS via @azcentral

The other thing is simply cutting Washington is fairly inexpensive for the Cardinals, so if they want to do so after the draft is over and they have time to get their bearings on the roster, it would not cost too much in dead money.
Anyway you look at it, the Daryl Washington phenomenon is not over... yet.
